Following the triumphant sell-out success of The Shape of Things (soon to be a major film),
Neil LaBute returns to the Almeida at Kings Cross with his lastest play.

Told in startling blasts of laughter and horror, The Distance From Here is
a portrait of young America on the brink of revolt. LaBute dissects the
lives of six Americans living in a suburban wasteland trapped in a web
of anger, deception and violence.

Award-winning Director, David Leveaux, returns to the Almeida where he directed three
of the company's greatest successes - Harold Pinter's Betrayal, No Man's Land and the
World Premiere of Moonlight. Recent work includes Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing
(Donmar, West End, Broadway) and Salomé (English National Opera).
